Access to and use of ‘kindredfolk.org’ both within the UK and internationally is provided by Kindred Folk Dance Theatre on the following terms:
- By using kindredfolk.org you agree to be bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately on your first use of this website. If you do not agree to be bound by all of the following terms please do not access, use and/or contribute to culturewarrington.org
- These terms may change from time to time and so you should check these terms regularly. Your continued use of culturewarrington.org will be deemed acceptance of the updated or amended terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should cease using this website.
USE OF kindredfolk.org
You agree to use kindredfolk.org only for lawful purposes, and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the website. Prohibited behaviour includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any person, transmitting obscene or offensive content or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within kindredfolk.org
CONTRIBUTIONS TO kindredfolk.org
Copyright in any contribution you make to culturewarrington.org will remain with you and this permission is not exclusive, so you can continue to use the material in any way including allowing others to use it.
You confirm that any contribution is your own original work, is not defamatory and does not infringe any UK laws, that you have the right to use the contributed material, and that you have the consent of anyone who is identifiable in your contribution or the consent of their parent/guardian if they are under 16.
All contributions to kindredfolk.org are reviewed by our staff prior to publication. Contributions may be edited, amended or abbreviated before they are published. We offer no guarantees that any contribution you make will be published on the website. In contributing to kindredfolk.org you agree to abide by the House Rules set out below.
kindredfolk.org HOUSE RULES
In order to participate in and contribute to kindredfolk.org you may be required to register with the website. Any personal information supplied to us as part of this registration process and/or any other interaction with kindredfolk.org will be collected, stored and used in accordance with our privacy policy.
You agree to use kindredfolk.org in accordance with the following House Rules. These apply across allculturewarrington.org sites and services.
(i) About your posts:
Contributions must be civil and tasteful.
No disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour: contributions must be constructive and polite, not mean-spirited or contributed with the intention of causing trouble.
No unlawful or objectionable content: unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable material is not acceptable.
No spamming or off-topic material: we don’t allow the submission of the same or very similar contributions many times.
No advertising or promoting: unless you are registered with us as a Community Partner and are publishing details of your events, any contributions that include advertising or promotion will not be allowed.
No impersonation.
No inappropriate (e.g. vulgar, offensive etc) usernames.
(ii) Safety:
We advise that you take sensible precautions to protect your own safety when using kindredfolk.org and that you never reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else.
(iii) Legal requirements:
You may not submit or share any defamatory or illegal material of any nature on kindredfolk.org. This includes text, graphics, video, programs or audio.
You agree to submit to kindredfolk.org only contributions which are your own original work. You must not violate, plagiarise, or infringe the rights of Culture Warrington or other third parties including copyright, trademark, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, personal or proprietary rights.
(iv) If you’re under 16:
Please get a parent’s or guardian’s permission before contributing to kindredfolk.org.
Never reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else (for example, school, telephone number, your full name, home address or email address).
(v) If you breach these House Rules:
If you fail to abide by these House Rules when contributing to kindredfolk.org, you will be sent an email which informs you why your contribution has been refused or edited. This email will also include a warning that continuing to break the rules may result in action being taken against your account or accounts.
This action may include a temporary or permanent suspension of your ability to contribute to kindredfolk.org.
If you submit or share offensive or inappropriate content to or with kindredfolk.org and/or other users or otherwise engage in any disruptive behaviour on the website, and we consider such behaviour to be serious and/or repeated, we may use whatever information that is available to us about you to stop any further such infringements.
Kindred Folk Dance Theatre reserves the right to delete any contribution or take action against any user account, at any time, for any reason.
