Rough & Tumble is a dance performance for the whole family all about PLAY!
Rough & Tumble invites your family to join in and PLAY!
A series of bright, energetic and interactive pop up duets bringing your childhood games to life in front of you.
With an art installation and treasure hunt the play lives on between the dance.
Community Involvement
All of our shows include the community at every stage and Rough & Tumble is no exception.
In 2021 we conducted some research in collaboration with Ashton, Beswick, Frodsham, Laches and Oldham Libraries. We went in to local schools and youth groups while older adults, mums and tots came in to the library for workshops with us. We also spent time in each library talking to library goers about childhood playground games. All of this information directly influenced the Rough & Tumble production.
We had so much fun talking about games, play games and dancing!
